Blower pipe and adaptors difficult to remove due to dirt in joints, but then everything can't always be easy. All else about blower is superb. Shopped for a while online until this model showed up. Metal impeller has to be a major plus, based on other reviews I read. The suction pipe has NEVER clogged. I am sucking up liquid amber leaves and the seed balls too. The balls make a few laps around the impeller, but they eventually get small enough and get sent to the "bin". I recommend getting the "leaf collection system". Highly over priced, but it makes everything too easy. The locking device on the adaptor for the hose to the trash can doesn't lock. The lugs are poorly designed or manufactured (one of those). I have duct taped the adaptor in place. The plastic is too brittle in the cold. The locking tabs for the blower pipe broke the first time I disassembled it. There are anchor tabs for the extension cord on the blower and the adaptor for the leaf collection system that work perfectly. The only time my cord came undone was when the hose fell off the adaptor. After the addition of the duct tap...smooth sailing. I experienced a reduction of about 4 to 1 over STUFFING the trash can with leaves. I'm sure the 10 to 1 they claim is valid if you are just dumping the leaves into the trash.
