I bought this specifically for working on the bald patches in my yard - works great roughing up the soil in preparation for grass seed. I have very poor soil (clay and chert) so don't think I could do any deep cultivation with it (you might be able to with better soil). Unit arrived in immaculate shape, looked like it had never been used. Up and running in ten minutes (I had other B&D batteries charged already) No assembly instructions, but they really aren't necessary. Would buy from this company again, thanks!
