I purchased this several years ago to edge my planting beds. I wasn't sure that this would do what I wanted so I saved a few $$$ by purchasing a reconditioned unit. Now that I have 2 gardening seasons on this unit I can say that I don't know how I ever lived without it. I set the edger at the deepest setting and go along all of my planting beds. This gives me a crisp edge from which I can finish the beds by hand. I also use this along the edge of my sidewalk and patio, but in my case this is a small part of my landscaping. Nevertheless this machine does a great job in edging the concrete. This is probably more important for the majority of users. I definitely reccomend this for the typical homeowner.

This trimmer is amazing. I had been using a Toro, and this is like going from driving a Chevy to moving up to a Ferrari. I've only used it once so far, but it's so powerful that I was able to finish my trimming in a third of the time.

Great machine, dose a much better than I would have guessed. Had mine for 3 seasons now and even after a tornado bent the handle it still runs great. Clogging can be a problem if the ground is wet and it eats blades but all in all I'm very happy with it.

Does a great job and make my yard look finished after mowing. I tried to edge with my string trimmer but it never looked as good as I liked. Now it looks great after using the EdgeHog

HAD TO ADJUST TO MAX TO EDGE SOME WALKS.
HAD A TOUGH TIME EDGEING WHERE BANK WAS HIGHER THAN WALK, BUT KEPT ALOWWING TOOL TO DO IT'S JOB. SOMETIMES WE JUST HAVE TO TAKE OUR TIME.

[...] Label states full 2 year warranty which is nice on a recert. Had to put guide down to deepest depth to prevent jumping over edge of sidewalk, but works well now. Does require some back and forth to get a complete and even cut, but only one pass each way, kind of like vacuuming. Once you get the hang of it its a really nice tool.
